On May 8, 1945, WWII in Europe ended with Germany’s surrender. But did the Nazi Party itself surrender? Some say no.

1997: The horrific murder of an old flame’s husband sets former war correspondent Peter Brandt on the hunt for the hidden Nazi treasure. The search takes him down a bloody trail leading from the drug cartels of Mexico to a neo-Nazi training camp in the Southern California mountains. Along the way, he unearths a decades-long Nazi conspiracy to create a new Fourth Reich and continue the Nazi Party’s plan for world domination.

It’s an offer NYC college student Katerina Mills should refuse. But how can she?

Kat’s second job is not so easy: steal a VHS tape hidden in an antique chest. She can’t do it alone. To be a thief, she needs a thief: handsome, reclusive Alexander Winter to be exact.
Kat soon learns the real rules for a fixer: there are no rules, there are no refunds. Get in. Get results. Get gone.

Dramatic impacts that mid-life crisis had over people around me (myself included) made me realize how brutal the process can be. Suicide, divorce, ageing is life changing and far more brutal and vicious than any fiction killer could ever be. From there the idea of inner struggle literally coming to life just seemed like the next step.
Running from a life she didn’t choose, in a city she doesn’t know, Sukanya, a young Thai girl, escapes into Tokyo from human traffickers who will do anything to recover the computer she took. With help from Chiho, a Japanese girl living in a net café, she tries to get free from her pursuers and her past. Detective Hiroshi Shimizu tracks the killers through Tokyo’s teen hangouts and deserted docks, straight into the underbelly of the global economy and the highest reaches of the power elite.
