While traveling in their motorhome, amateur sleuths Dana Logan and Sarah Cafferty discover the body of a beautiful young woman in her Mercedes convertible along a northern Arizona highway. While investigating the murder, the killer returns to fire on them, disabling their RV. A truck driver named “Big Ruby” McCurdy rescues them and they follow the killer in Ruby’s eighteen wheeler as they travel toward Flagstaff. Sometimes hunters and sometimes the hunted, the two women find themselves embroiled in a plot to take down the government.
Bestselling author Carolyn Hart said this about the book: “Careen into crime with two intrepid sleuths who outwit terrorists in a fast-paced plot taken from today’s headlines. A page turner.”

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Having traveled the southwest by driving a 36-foot motorhome towing my car, I listened to truckers on my CB along the way, so I learned their jargon. The plot came to me when I noticed a car off the road along a mountainous northern Arizona highway. I’m a former news staff writer who reported on the Mexican border, so the story unfolded as I wrote. This is the third novel in my Logan & Cafferty mystery/suspense series.
